In this 6-week class we explored creating mandalas of the love, energy and guidance from our spirit guides or the “angels” among us—human, animal or divine—those who have helped us on our journey, or, who we have helped. We painted mandalas of the help which surrounds us, the everyday “angels” who are close to us, what the angels might look like, animals who have helped us, interventions by a spirit being and inviting angels to help us. To the left is a mandala of mine representing an experience of being surrounded by my spirit beings in the form of poinsettias.

Here we are, most of us, on the last day of class with the final Angel Mandalas. We are in front of a Nature Mandala we all created together with “Circles of Love,” mini-mandalas, atop it. We created the Circles for the refugee children at the International Rochester Academy when we heard they were feeling especially scared these days.
